XL Hemorrhagic Cysts of the Frontal Sinus Which Simulated Mucocele: Report of Two Cases

Two patients were encountered whose symptoms and signs were thought to be due to mucocele of the frontal sinus, but exploratory operation revealed that hemorrhagic cysts of the frontal sinus had caused the symptoms and signs. Because this type of cyst is rare and because the operative technic employed in removal of the cysts differed from that used in the management of mucocele of the frontal sinus, the cases are reported in detail.
