A New Analysis of the Convergence Mechanism for Distributed Power Flow Coordination Calculation

The constitution of the exterior iterations depends on the analysis and comprehension of the convergence mechanism in the decomposition and coordination calculations of the distributed power flow based on asynchronous iteration.The pool theory based on concentric relaxation is extended in this paper to analyze the influence of the equivalent injection power errors on the nodes during the power flow calculation.4 lemmas are proposed to theoretically analyze the convergence mechanics from the new viewpoint of the concentric relaxation conception.Finally a new method called direct selection method is proposed to get the coalition parameters of coordination calculation.The relationships of the theoretical explanations together with their algorithms which have been proposed are given,and the direct selection method is compared with original methods.The simulations in the IEEE 9-bus,IEEE 39-bus,IEEE 118-bus systems testify the analysis given in this paper,which also show that direct selection method has its advantages.
