Multidimensional RD-CNNs: a circuit realization

In this paper the paradigm of Reaction-Diffusion Cellular Neural Networks, usually treated in bidimensional grids, is extended to three-dimensional spatial domains. In such a way it is possible to reproduce spatio-temporal dynamics met in spatio-temporal systems evolving in three-dimensional lattices. The peculiarities of the model, its realization by means of RD-CNNs, some simulations as well as the circuit implementation details are reported. Some interesting applications are also addressed.
