An improved vector control strategy of doubly-fed induction generator(DFIG) was proposed to reduce the impact of DFIG based wind turbine system caused by grid voltage dips.The dynamics of the stator flux is considered when designing the rotor current controller,with adding feedforward compensation terms corresponded to it.The experimental results prove that this method can restrain the rotor side over-current effectively while the DFIG can support some reactive power to the grid,so that the low voltage ride-through(LVRT) of the DFIG can be achieved.
