A novel spatial filtering velocimeter based on a photodetector array

In this paper, a new spatial filtering velocimeter is presented. A common charge-coupled device (CCD) has been used as spatial filter for one-component velocity measurements. Velocity estimation is based on an advantageous quadrature signal generation and appropriate signal processing.
