400GbE demonstration utilizing 100GbE optical sub-assemblies and cyclic arrayed waveguide gratings

We propose a 16 × 25-Gb/s WDM configuration with cyclic AWGs as a realistic solution for 400-Gb/s Ethernet, which utilizes 100GbE optical sub-assemblies. A 10-km error-free transmission with our proposed approach demonstrates its technical feasibility.
