Landslide Monitoring Using Sar Sub-Pixel Offset Tracking

In this paper, we address large displacements monitoring using sub-pixel offset tracking. This technique, working only with the amplitude channel, can be applied in the observation of fast movements even in scarcely temporally coherent areas. The case study concerns the Slumgullion landslide (US). It is a fast landslide, causing each year movements of several meters, thus impossible to be monitored with differential interferometry. The obtained results have been compared with those available in literature retrieved through on field measurements. This comparison confirmed the reliability of the implemented methodology.
