Study on Optimal Model and Algorithm of Equipment Spares

The goal of maintenance program is to optimize system performance through cost reduction and increased availability. A optimal model was established based on the reliability of the system and satisfactory rate of component spares. The genetic algorithm was designed and used to solve the model. Analysis was carried out for different parameters of the component spare, and the system reliability was different. The result shows that the model is suitable and applicable.
