A Re-usable Neutron Measurement Device Based on Superheated Liquid

A re-usable superheated liquid neutron detector (SLNS-2) device has been developed and its performance has been evaluated over 35 exposure recharge cycles. The data pertaining to energy independence (average energy 0.5-4.4 MeV), dose rate independence (125-500 uSv.hr -1 ), response to gamma radiations, recharge cycle performance and real time response are presented.
