HUMAN RELATIONSHIPS AT WORK IN ORGANISATIONS PETR USKA CLARKSON and PATRICIA SHAW Metanoia This article discusses an organisation as a collection of people who generate between them and around them a network of relationships. We distinguish five different strands of relationship at work and consider both their contribution to productive and satisfying organisational life and their potential for creating problems. We also look at the range of counselling and consulting skills and services which can support the healthy functioning of this network of relationships.
