Research on Yaw-moment Control Methods of VDC System

Vehicular Dynamic Control System(VDC) can enhance the vehicle high speed maneuver stability through active yaw-moment control and reduce traffic accidents such as sideslip evidently,so researching yaw-moment control methods is a hot spot in the field of vehicle dynamics.Based on the study of the advanced control theory,the robust,fuzzy and fuzzy-PID with intelligent integral controllers of the VDC system are designed.The controllers are joined to the vehicle system models and the system simulation is carried on,and three controllers and their control effects are compared.The simulation results indicate that three controllers all can realize effective yaw-moment control of VDC,and each has its own characteristics.The control effect of fuzzy-PID with intelligent integral is the best in all,and has better applying prospect.Intelligent integral function can reduce the side effect of integral function and further improve the control effect of fuzzy-PID.The simulation research provides a reference for applying fuzzy-PID control with intelligent integral to actual VDC system.
