Image-edge detection processing of terrane in coal mine on based of maximum modulus of wavelet transform

According to the problem of image-edge detection in the terrane monitoring system in coal mine underground,a way of using wavelet transform in image-edge detection processing is brought out.At the beginning of the paper the way of image-edge detection in generally is summarized,and then the way on the basis of maximum module of wavelet transform is analyzed.The first step is to de-compose the image in multi-size in order to describe the different structure character,according to observe each module of wavelet coef-ficients to detect the detail information.The result shows that the way on the basis of wavelet transform is good in detail detection of terrane image of the anchor-hold drill in coal mine,so as to get better vision effect.
