Strimple and Others — Crinoid Studies family Graphiocrininae

A new lecanocrinid from Oklahoma of early Missourian (Late Pennsylvanian) age is referred to the genus Cibolocrinus WELLER. It is one of the largest lecanocrinids known and represents a divergent group in which the dorsal cup has a basal concavity. Discussion of Tribrachiocrinus M'CoY and possible affinities is given, leading to the conclusion that this genus belongs to the Inadunata rather than the Flexibilia.
