A novel filter based on zeroth‐order resonance by means of CRLH transmission line

A novel band-pass filter based on zeroth-order resonance is presented in this article. The filter offers a 68% size reduction compared to the traditional coupled-line filter, while keeping the same performance. The experimental results of the filter are in good agreement with the Advanced Design System simulation results. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
