An energy-aware and fuzzy knowledge routing algorithm for mobile peer-to-peer networks

Due to the variability and dynamic in mobile P2P networks, routing information generated by mobile agents based on interaction is uncertainty, non real-time and fuzzy, this paper describes that establishing a robust routing scheme is an important task. According to the characters of mobile P2P networks, an energy-aware and fuzzy knowledge routing algorithm is proposed. The algorithm that can analyzes and filters valuable data from fuzzy information carried by mobile agents depends on the value of the remaining energy using the generalized energy formula of mobile devices. The analysis and experiment show the proposed algorithm deal with fuzzy and uncertain routing information of mobile agents, and can significantly improve the routing algorithm performance. Moreover, it saves mobile devices' energy, and prolongs the surviving time of mobile devices in the network.
