HLA-based distributed simulation platform over grid

High Level Architecture (HLA) has become the standard for the distributed simulation by now. With increasingly widespread application of distributed simulation, there is a growing need for accessing large amount of computing resources and data sets, which could be geographically distributed in different places. Collaborative resources that could possibly supported by grid in massive simulation application were analyzed. A framework of HLA-based distributed simulation over grid was proposed and then a resource management system through the API provided by Java Cog was designed to implement assimilation of simulation and grid technology.
