Application of Vibroflotation without Backfill Materials to Foundation Reinforcement of Caofeidian Harbor

By analyzing geological condition of thick silty-fine-sand newly dredged to Caofeidian harbor,it is proposed to apply vibroflotation without backfill materials to foundation reinforcement. Then the foundation reinforcement construction is supervised and analyzed in order to summarize the suitability of vibroflotation without backfill materials as well as its merits and demerits,which will provide references for similar projects.
