Origin and Development of Digital Printing

Digital printing originated from printer,but invention and maturation of printers were related to typewriters.Accordingly, the above thought will be used as the main outline to review the historical process beginning with typewriters to modem digital printers via impact printers and non-impact printers.Moreover,considering each digital printing method possessing of own particularity and application field,it is necessary to discuss the development process and actuality of the mainstream technologies in digital printing area.
