Robustness of a double fed machine control law to load variation

In this paper, the authors propose an analysis of the stability of a double fed machine under load variations: robustness has also been examined in function of parameters of the machine. The machine is fed at the stator and at the rotor by two IGBT PWM converters. The control law uses the possibility of measurement of all electrical values. The authors show that an open loop is interesting in the stator: it uses a minimum of machine parameters for the control. This system allows high dynamic performances with a large field weakening range. The control law has been verified on a testing bench of 3 kW.
