STATE OF THE ART ON PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS IN THE NETHERLANDS
暂无分享,去创建一个
This paper outlines developments on pavement management systems in the Netherlands, survey system and maintenance planning methods being developed or already in use by the Rijkswaterstaat, the Study Centre for Road Construction, Delft University of Technology and several consultant engineering offices. Details are given of the way the surveys are carried out, how the data are used in performance models to predict future deterioration and to plan maintenance activities, and of the optimisation techniques used for the selection of the most suitable type of maintenance. Lastly, attention is drawn to the use of deflection, rut depth and skid resistance measurements in pavement management systems. Several examples are quoted.
