To face global and local competition and to enhance admission demand for sustainability, Srinivas Institute of Management Studies (SIMS) has adopted several innovative strategies and this paper consists of such strategies adopted for improving the quality, and attract more students admission to its courses. These strategies include institutional objectives and core values, choice of courses, publicity strategy, criteria adopted for admission, institutional review, admission policy, catering student diversity, strategy to assess the students’ needs, strategy for effective implementation of curriculum, institutional strategy to supplement the university’s curriculum, strategies adopted to bridge the knowledge gap, student-centric learning process, institutional strategy to nurture critical thinking, creativity and scientific temper among the students, technology adoption strategy, strategy on innovative teaching approaches/methods adopted, library resources strategy, strategy adopted to complete the curriculum, faculty re-charge strategy, strategies adopted by the institution in enhancing the teacher quality, quality monitoring strategy, faculty evaluation strategy used for improving the quality of the teaching-learning process, curriculum supplement & enrichment strategies, strategy of introducing new programmes/courses, and innovations and best practices in teaching and learning process.
