A Lighting Control Device for Lighting Optimum Energy LED with Pattern Changes

In this paper, the efficient lighting control module for lighting optimum energy LED with pattern changes is proposed, which is to reduce power consumption and increase LED's life-cycle and heat efficiency of LED lighting module. The new proposed lighting control module for lighting LED devices is divided into 4 levels of lighting based on surrounding illuminance by measuring illuminance and applying automatic pattern lighting algorithm. Other than that, level check will be used to light up for a set of time by applying intersection lighting algorithm of magic square pattern forming a full symmetry. When it detects movement during the lighting time, it maintains full luminous flux by lighting all LEDs. The experimental analysis result shows heating value and power consumption reduced to maximum 30 percent and lifetime of LED improved to maximum 60 percent in comparison with previous lighting system. Therefore, applying the new system to LED streetlight can achieve stability and high energy efficiency.
