In conventional imaging, the alteration motionblur severely damages the original information on the image details. The deconvolution operation necessary to deblurring is therefore ill-posed. In addition, the point spread function characteristic is usually unknown. This paper presents a tightly coupled “Digital Imaging” approach with a dedicated device and an algorithm to compute the point spread function of the blurred image and near-sensor image processing to avoid this phenomenon.
