Measurement of Along-Track Surface Displacements by SAR: Multi- Aperture Interferometry vs. Amplitude Pixel Offset

Multi-aperture interferometry (MAI) and amplitude pixel offset (PO) technique are compared for the measurement of along-track surface displacements between two SAR datasets using ALOS-2 PALSAR-2 high resolution datasets. Two results have good agreement in general. The PO measurements with very high cross correlation coefficients agree well with the MAI measurements. The PO method probably performs as good as the MAI, if the cross correlation coefficients are well considered.
