Electron beam therapy is well-known for its characteristic of low penetration and high dose rate. The input the dosimetric parameters like percentage depth dose (PDD) and beam profiles is required for treatment planning systems. Polymeric gel is a valuable tool for dose measurements, specially the MAGIC-f gel dosimeter have been shown as a feasible dosimeter for use in radiotherapy due to its characteristics good spatial resolution and the ability to construct tridimensional dose distributions. The aim of this work is to study the MAGIC-f response for an electron beam of 6MeV using different doses and dose rates and also the determination of dosimetric parameters, like PDD and beam profile, for this clinical beam. From the obtained results it can be infered that MAGIC-f polymeric gel can be used as a complementary dosimetric tool for electron beams due to its characteristics of high spatial resolution and tridimensional dose distributions.
