Real-Time Performance Simulation of a Mixed-Flow Two-Spool Augmented Turbofan Engine

Study of real-time performance simulation of a mixed-flow two-spool augmented turbofan engine used in a flight simulator was carried out.Based on the engine control law, component matching relationships and experimental data, taking into account features of flight simulator, the application of curve fitting, interpolation method, orthogonal design etc.,to engine real time model was investigated.A real-time simulation model of a mixed-flow two-spool augmented turbofan engine was established with C~(++)language. The results show that the error of steady state performance is less than 2% and that of the transient performance is less than 5%,and every 4 ms or less the model can complete a performance calculation.
