Community food project evaluation practices in the East Midlands

This project was commissioned by the Government Office for the East Midlands (GOEM) in October 2009. The aim of the project was to review the current evaluation practices of community food projects in the East Midlands. The specific objectives of the project were as follows: 1) Establish the nature of information collected for evaluating a range of community food projects in the East Midlands. 2) Summarise the common methods and tools used to measure the projectsâ?T immediate impact and long term outcomes. 3) Investigate how the evaluation collection methods had been conceived and developed. 4) Identify the difficulties and challenges faced with evaluating community food projects in the region. 5) Highlight the evaluation methods that work well in practice and those that are more problematic.
