A Year in Review

I am happy to report on a very successful 2017 for the Journal of Transcultural Nursing. As we enter into 2018, I want to recognize our accomplishments for the year. Thank you to my Sage acquisitions editor, Lorianne Sarsfield; Neha Jaiswal, our production editor; and our managing editor, Elizabeth Marshall for all the work they do to support the journal. Thank you to Transcultural Nursing Society for their continuous support, especially Lisa Dobson and Leanne Wiersing. Thank you to my senior and association editors and our editorial board for providing expertise in transcultural health care theory and research. Thank you to our reviewers and our authors who submit manuscripts. And most of all, thank you to our readers. We are an incredible team. Our annual conference was held in New Orleans in October, and we had a wonderful opportunity to network and meet our members, reviewers, and board members. Our lunch with our Board of Directors was synergizing among some of the best experts in transcultural nursing in the world. We networked among peers as reviewers at dinner on Friday night, which is now a tradition for us to be together and support each other as editors of the journal. The journal continues to prosper thanks to the excellent authors who contribute to the journal. The following facts were reported at the conference:
