Indoor positioning system based on ZigBee technology

The invention discloses an indoor positioning system based on the ZigBee technology. The indoor positioning system comprises a server, a coordinator, routers, reference labels and labels to be positioned. The server is composed of a database management system and a positioning system. The coordinator, the routers, the reference labels and the labels to be positioned are composed of CC2530 chips, single chip microcomputers and power sources. The coordinator, the routers, the reference labels and the labels to be positioned establish a ZigBee wireless network through an ad-hoc network, the routers obtain signal strength values and addresses the reference labels and the labels to be positioned through ZigBee wireless signals and transfer the signal strength values and the addresses to the coordinator, the coordinator receives data and uploads the data to the server, the server processes the data, and an improved LANDMARC algorithm is utilized to achieve the positioning function. The indoor positioning system based on the ZigBee technology solves the problems that the existing indoor positioning technology is low in positioning precision and high in cost, and a novel indoor positioning technology is provided.
