Dynamic Characteristics Analysis of Induction Motor Loads

It is very important to correct explain the physical mechanism characteristics of power system dynamic loads for accurately modelling the synthetic characteristics of system loads.Firstly,physical mechanisms of induction motors as the main dynamic loads in power systems were investigated deeply in this paper,from which several critical performance indexes and parameters were obtained to globally describe the dynamic responses of the induction motor loads by simulation analysis.Secondly,based on the eigen analysis of induction motos.,attenuation rate of the mechanical eigen mode of induction motor was defined,and an effective algorithsm was presented to compare the stability behaviours of different induction motor loads.These conclusions are the key points in grasping the comprehensive dynamic characteristics of all the power system loads and obtaining the thynthetic load model.
