Classification PCC on aspects of power quality

From the point of view of electricity consumers, electricity has to be available all the time and with such a high level of power quality that all electrical equipment works safely and satisfactorily. Electricity is a product whose quality depends not only on how it is brought into the network, but also on the way it is being used. The grid-operator is responsible for the overall control of disturbance levels under normal operating conditions in accordance with standard requirements or requirements specified by the national regulator. The consumer is responsible for maintaining his emissions at the point of common coupling (PCC) below the limits specified by grid-operator or regulator. A classification for the PCC is presented. It is an easy to understand classification on several aspects of power quality which can be used to inform the consumer about the supply parameters at the PCC.
