Sub-carriers allocating method for inter-cells interference reduction in ofdm cellular environments

PURPOSE: A method for assigning a sub-carrier for reducing intercell interference in OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) cellular environment is provided to improve communication quality by reducing an overlapped area of a data transmission sub-carrier between cells. CONSTITUTION: An RNC(Radio Network Controller) discriminates the type of antenna used in a multi cell structure(S10). The RNC selects a target cell and cells affecting interference in large amount to the target cell according to the discriminated antenna type(S11). If a cell set for assigning a sub-carrier is selected, the RNC discriminates the whole frequency bandwidth to configure sub-carrier subsets corresponding to the number of the selected cells(S12). The RNC assigns mutually exclusive sub-carrier subsets out of the configured sub-carrier subsets to the selected cells(S13).
