Field experience on diagnostic condition assessment of three phase distribution class transformers over a wide frequency

Despite robust in construction, a certain number of distribution transformers inevitably fail. This paper investigates on diagnostic condition of three phase distribution class transformers located onsite. Six transformers of different in-service time are chosen and subjected to diagnostic experiments. The information obtained is used to assess their diagnostic condition over a wide frequency.
