On classification of metabelian Lie algebras.

We classify metabelian Lie algebras with successive dimensions of quotients of the lower central series (m;n)=(5;5) and (6;3) . The problem is reduced to describing orbits of the linear group V 2 SLm SLn , the latter being a -group in both cases. The results obtained in the paper allow to complete the classication of metabelian Lie algebras of dimension up to 9.
