Finite Element Analysis of Hydraulic Cylinder of F1-1600 Pump

The working principal and process of F1-1600 pump hydraulic cylinder were introduced.The fatigue cause of hydraulic cylinder was explicated.The three dimensiona1 model of hydraulic cylinder was built with UG NX7.0 of a three-dimensional modeling software.And FEM modeling of hydraulic cylinder was explained in detail.The appropriate load and constraint were added to hydraulic cylinder according to its connection and load in working.FEM analysis of hydraulic cylinder was performed with the FEM software NX NASTRAN of UG NX7.0.A survey has been done on the stress andstrain distribution of the hydraulic cylinder under the effect of high pressure mud.The strength of hydraulic cylinder met ASME Ⅷ standard by checking the stress and strain distribution of the hydraulic cylinder.
