Experimental research on temperature and velocity field of newly developed air-conditioner with its air conveying outlet upward

Aiming at improving the improper thermal comfort of wall-mounted air-conditioners,a prototype of air-conditioner with upflowing indoor unit was developed.During its development,comparative experiments were made between the temperature and the velocity field of the current wall-mounted air-conditioner and those of the prototype of our newly developed air-conditioner.The experimental results show that the new type air-conditioner has achieved its expected results and greatly improves indoor local thermal comfort.
