The Scattering of Electromagnetic Waves by Conducting Spheres and Discs

A laboratory method is described for measuring the returned signal scattered from an object in an electromagnetic field. Measurements on conducting spheres and discs are compared with theoretical formulae. A new computation of the scattering function for conducting spheres is tabulated.
