Fault detection for linear switched systems based on a bank of luenberger observers

Switched linear systems are a class of hybrid dynamical systems. For the diagnosis of this kind of system one solution consists into the use of a hybrid observer that identify the current mode of functioning and to estimates the state. In this paper, we studied a buck converter having a DC motor as load, and we proposed a hybrid observer based on a bank of Luenberger observers to detect sensors faults and parameters faults. The efficiency of the proposed method was proven by numerical simulations.
