Sources of Job Satisfaction Among Service Volunteers

Increased attention has been paid in recent years to the number of people engaged in volunteer work, mostly in helping other people or advancing a social cause. Parallel to this development is a growth in the number of organizational frameworks (mostly in the human services) which either base themselves entirely on volunteer manpower or incorporate volunteer workers alongside their paid staff.
