THEORETICAL ANALYSIS OF TRANSFER FUNCTION ALGORITHM FOR GROUNDED FAULT LOCATION IN THREE PHASE POWER DISTRIBUTION LINES

Transfer function algorithm for locating line to ground fault in power distribution lines is assumed in this paper. The system analysis method of transfer function is introduced to power distribution lines and the definition of transfer function for fault location is integrally propounded. The formulas of transfer function in three phase distribution lines with ground fault are deduced in detail. Numerical analysis to the formulas verified that the algorithm is effective to fault location for power distribution networks.
