Catalytic properties of metal-phthalocyanines in reactions involving hydrogen

The catalytic properties and the mechanism of activation of phthalocyanines in reactions with participation of hydrogen are examined. The mechanism of the catalytic action of phthalocyanines is discussed. Two types of active centres ('metallic' and 'organic') are distinguished in the phthalocyanine molecule. Problems associated with the fixation of phthalocyanine catalysts on carriers are considered. The bibliography includes 120 references.
