File Marking Based on File System Filter Driver

File system filter driver technology is an effective, reliable and transparent technique to solve the problem of document security. Using file system filter driver to resolve the problem of document security would lead to marking various files, and for users, the file marking must be transparent. This paper describes that, based on file system filter driver in windows 2K/XP/2003, the marking of a single file and of multiple scattered files as well is achieved by embedding file marking in the document, while there is no restriction on the maximum length of the file marking, thus guaranteeing high efficiency and strong reliability of document security protection system.
