Scleroderma and sexuality

There is little literature for sexuality educators and therapists about the effects of scleroderma on sexuality, and other than this article, there is no comprehensive account of the effect of scleroderma symptoms on sexuality. Scleroderma is an autoimmune syndrome with many symptoms that can have a negative impact on sexual functioning. With appropriate intervention, if necessary, the person with scleroderma can continue to have a healthy and satisfying sexual life. Suggestions for strategies to enhance the sexual lives of persons with scleroderma are provided.
