A New efficient RNS-to-binary conversion for the three-moduli sets

The residue-to-binary (R/B) converter plays an important role in the applications of residue number system (RNS). Due to its special number theoretic properties, RNS with powers-of-two related moduli sets has received much more attention than those with other forms of moduli. In this paper, we present a general R/B conversion algorithm for four well studied three-moduli sets. The proposed scheme employs a small size ROM and shift-left operations to perform modulo operations and to replace multiplications. Thus, the proposed converters can be implemented by fast and simple architectures.
