Interface Principle and Application Program Design of Synchronous Serial Port Controller in the PXA255 Processor

The synchronous serial port controller (SSPC) in the PXA255 processor is a full-duplex synchronous serial communication interface controller. It can directly connect to external peripherals that use serial synchronous protocols conveniently for transferring the control and status information and input/output data in short distance. The format of serial communication protocols that SSPC supports and its registers structure and the principle of interface are introduced. The application of SSPC in development is also introduced by example.
