Rationality Analysis of Test Sequence for CTCS-1 Train Control System Based on Expert System

CTCS-1(Chinese Train Control System Level 1) is used to ensure the safety and efficiency of the existing railway line which accounts for more than 70 percent of the total railway mileage in China. In order to verify whether a CTCS-1 system satisfy the system requirements specification, a series of testing shall be carried out, for which test sequences shall be prepared. Currently, as all the test sequences are written manually by professional staff, it is difficult to guarantee the quality of test sequences. To address this problem, an expert system approach for verifying the rationality of test sequence is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the rationality criteria for CTCS-1 test sequence is summarized; secondly, the data for inference are obtained and the data extraction process is proposed; thirdly, the production rules are established to represent the knowledge of CTCS-1 train control system; finally, a combination strategy of inference and comparison is adopted to verify the rationality of test sequence. Several key issues are addressed, such as data extraction, rule representation, inference and comparison strategy in this paper.
