고층 오피스 건물의 연돌효과 해결방안

Recently, high-rise buildings are increased rapidly around the world. However, high-rise buildings have aroused many problems have not experienced in low-rise buildings. Stack effect is one of the problems in high-rise buildings. Stack effect is especially pronounced in winter and can lead to serious problems such as difficulty in opening or closing doors, noise, draught, and accelerating the spread of fire and energy loss by increased infiltration. In this study, stack effect problem were analyzed for a high-rise building in Seoul and its countermeasures were suggested and analyzed in terms of minimizing the pressure difference. The results shows that the elevator pressure differences of building A is decreased by 34% with stack effect countermeasures. However the pressure differences of the upper floors were still exceed the standard value. Due to the transfer of lower floor pressure differences to the upper floors in building B, the pressure differences of the emergency E/V fire prevention door was increased in upper floors. This results suggest that the stack effect countermeasures should be applied considering the interaction between them.
