Novel RZ-CW conversion scheme for ultra multi-level, high-speed coherent OTDM transmission

We propose a coherent OTDM transmission technique that enables high SNR demodulation and demultiplexing performance by employing an RZ-CW conversion technique. The advantage of the scheme is demonstrated with 10-Gsymbol/s, 8-OTDM, 32-RZ/QAM signals.
