On Satisfying Real-Time Constraints in Real-Time Manufacturing Systems

Abstract This paper presents a predictable realtime scheduling schme upon multiprocessor production stages in manufacturing systems underlying realtime constraints. The preemptive scheduling of systems consisting of periodic and aperiodic tasks on a platform comprised of several uniform multiprocessors is considered.
