Photonics for RF signal processing in radar systems

We present an overview of optical summation principles and technologies, related to architectures for signal processing and optical beam forming networks (OBFN). This paper relates theoretical analysis as well as experimental demonstrations for advanced radar and electronic warfare concepts.
